If you are looking for self catering holiday accommodation in Ayrshire as a base for your golfing holiday, or perhaps after a busy day’s meetings, our Bothy is located in the heart of Scotland’s greatest concentration of first-grade links, including three Open Championship venues, with courses stretching back-to-back for miles up and down a glorious stretch of coastline.

We have two golf courses within a four minute drive from Doonbank – Belleisle and Seafield.

If you played three rounds a day, selecting a different golf club for each round, you will just about get through the courses below if you stayed at Doonbank Bothy for 7 nights. The closest golf course is only 4 minutes drive away from our Bothy, the furthest – an hour, so a golfers paradise! There are also a wide variety of courses, to suit all levels of ability, with prices ranging from £15 for a round at an exceptionally good municipal course to £135 for a day ticket at one of golf’s truly great clubs.
